In Unit 3, we covered the basics of calculating density, mass, and the buoyant force different objects possess. Finding an object's buoyant force is done by finding the water displacement. To find an object's density, you use one of three equations; D=M/V, M=DV, or V=M/D. If none of these apply, you could also use a scale. To find the volume of an object, you yous three methods as well. The formulas are L*W*H, a graduated cylinder, or water displacment.
